(a microblog: notes, queries, and whatnot)

With each shift in place comes the task of reacclimating the mind, focussing the eyes again on that which was always still there.  With each shift, there's the possbility of losing it all, no longer sensing the edge of things, vanishing into the great gameplaying.  Even if it's just a move across town.

When I was acting, I could do this because I had a physical technique of re-centering myself in each new place, and that gave me access to the world again.  I suppose if I were a priest, the rituals would serve much the same grounding.

Now that thinking is all I have, thinking itself must find the thought.  Takes a few days, on occasion.

That said, I'm in a much better position to think than I was in a few months ago.  Deo gratias.
